Bridgton Highlands Country Club

If I were a local I would join this club! It was my first time out on this course. The pro hooked me up with a 3 some coming off the front 9. They welcomed me to play along with them on the back. Everyone was fantastic. The course is super well maintained and the greens are excellent. If you are in the area and you have your clubs, play a loop at this course, you won’t regret it.

Been playing here for many years with lots of upgrades recently and course is in great shape. Definitely feel that they're only looking to make money and they don't care about their customers! Very rude golf pro and won't be going back. Pretty sure he ripped us off too when I had already paid for 9 holes but wanted to add 9 more to make 18. Charged me $75 per person for adding 9 w/ cart. I'll take my play elsewhere.

My buddy's and I played in a charity scramble at this course that we have played in for 4 years now. I myself have played at this course for the last 10 years. I used to love this course until now. The people working there seem rude and greedy now. My buddy's and I aren't normally the best golfers as I usually shot 40+ over. Our Handicap for the scramble came out to be a 27. Over the last 4 years we have never shot under par during the scramble. Our best round was last year when we shot even as a 4-man scramble team. Today my buddy's and I played our best round ever. I had the game of my life. We ended up shooting 8 down with no bogeys. Keep in mind this is a 4-man best ball and we bought 8 mulligans 2 per person. We were super excited because we have never done that. When we turned in the score card the first thing they did was ask us if we cheated. We are not the type to cheat in a charity event we just enjoy the game and want to show our support to the local animal shelter. When I told them we didn't they proceeded to tell us that we lied about our handicap which we all have our last 10 rounds that we played saved which supports that we did not lie about it. After playing my best round of my life that was a major disappointment to be treated like that. He then continued to tell everyone that people lied about their handicaps and thanked people who he felt like was honest about it. During all this one of the employees there told him to DQ a team for cheating on the green every hole. He looked at the names and then dropped it and didn't say a word. I used to love this course and recommend it to everyone, but I will no longer be doing that, and I will no longer go there.

Very disappointed this place received a one star review from Mitch two weeks ago! I firmly believe this is an isolated issue and not indicative of the friendly and professional environment of this excellent club. I have always felt the staff goes above and beyond assuring that everyone has a positive experience in a wonderful environment.

The course is deserving of a 4 star review. Fun, tight, sufficiently challenging, greens were in great condition and very fast. I would give the staff a 0. Contacted the course weeks in advance to ensure accommodations could be arranged so a large group flying in from all over the country could play. This included booking 3 tee times and being told there would be sufficient rental clubs for those who needed them. When we arrived it’s immediately communicated that those accommodations could not be honored and that we were all but stupid for not bringing our own clubs. The clubs we were given wouldn’t be deserving of being sold at Goodwill (incomplete sets, rotted grips, 90s era irons, LH clubs in RH sets, you get the idea…) Its one thing to not have the ability to accommodate certain requests but there’s no excuse for not being upfront from the start and to be insultingly rude to customers spending $1000+ for a day on the course.
